Sights such as the Augustinian Museum, the nail smith's houses with the crafts museum, the town parish church or the glass blowing workshop in the Kisslinger house are definitely worth a visit. From the castle ruins on the Schlossberg you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Inn valley. In July, the Schlossbergspiele take place here on the romantic open-air stage.

Castle Hill

 

Open all year round - ascent approx. 5 minutes. From the Castle Hill you have a fantastic view of the city, the "Inn" river and the tyrolean mountains. Wheelchair users can use the lift in the "Malerwinkel"

Nail smith houses

The rural aspect of the "Nagelschmied" houses, which propably date back to the 12th century, is particulary striking. In the museum, the visitor experiences old, originally furnished parlours and bedrooms, whose loving details tell of the way of life in past centuries. 

Augustinian museum

 

The augustinian museum rattenberg is unique in the former augustinian servite monastery, which existed form 1384 - 1971. The museum was opened on 01 May 1993. Its collections display tyrolean art treasures form nine centuries.

The "Ski Juwel Alpachtal Wildschönau" is one of the largest ski areas in tyrol. With its wide and long slopes, the family-friendly skiing area offers a skiing experience for beginners and skiing pros alike.
